British Film Institute organizes the retrospective of the films of Alexander Sokurov. On 29 October the films “Maria” and “Mother and Son” will be shown. The other documental and fiction films by the director will be shown throughout the year. |

Aleksandr Sokurov's Faust has won the Golden Lion at the 68th Venice International Film Festival. Besides that the film has won SIGNIS Award and the Future Film Festival Digital Award.
